Since the day we are sworn in to duty, members of the Waukesha Professional Firefighters Local 407 strive to be the best for the citizens of the City of Waukesha. Our 100 sworn firefighters operate at all levels of emergency services including; paramedics, EMT’s, technical rescue, hazardous materials response and water rescue.
Our members know that at the end of their 24 hour shift, the work is not over. They know that being in a field of service, we have to make a difference in the lives of the people we touch. This is the sole purpose of our charity work. We started raising money for charities back in the early 1990s with a Charity Dance. That has turned into a Charity Golf Outing that raises money for numerous charities, including; the Waukesha Food Pantry, Community Smiles Dental Clinic, the 16th Street Health Clinic, and the Wisconsin Summer Camp for Burn-Injured Youth, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We also coordinate several other charity fund raisers throughout the year. 100% of the funds raised goes back to these community causes!
At the end of the day, no matter if you're visiting Waukesha, working here, or are a citizen of Waukesha, know that you are getting the best emergency service from the highest qualified firefighters. We are honored to serve the City of Waukesha. We are proud to be the Waukesha Professional Firefighters.
